Charming Stay with Sunroom & Fireplace

All was good. Love the charm and hardwood. Slight confusion around fireplace. Remote has controls for heat, but fireplace appears to be for show only. Also, washer and dryer are in the basement. Not a problem, just had to ask.

All was good!!! Would recommend it and would make it clear that someone is living in the basement which was fine but would have been nice to know! Would stay here again. Cute house and comfortable!!! The hosts are very quick to answer any questions!!

This is such a CUTE Craftsman bungalow. Nice furnishings, clean soft sheets, abundant quality bath linens, kitchen stocked with equipment enough to do nearly all of our cooking for our 4 day stay. Sweet quiet little family neighborhood, walking distance to food co-op. Lots of windows and an a/c that worked well and quietly. Unfortunately, the listing is inaccurate in stating this is a "non-smoking" property. We opened the front door and were hit with a wall of stale smoke odor. I emailed the owner so that he would know the previous renter had smoked. I was pleased and surprised at his prompt response of dropping an ozone generator on the porch that evening for me to use. Sadly, letting the ozone run all the next day while we were out only made a small dent, because as became apparent on the third day the problem lies in the permanent tenant in the basement smoking cigars. Hopefully the listing will be changed to reflect this information so that renters who want a "smoking allowed" property will be able to find this. ( the odor was intense enough that when I unpacked at home, clothes that had stayed in my luggage the entire trip, also need to be cleaned or thrown away. Hopefully my luggage can be saved.)

My spouse and I stayed at the property with another couple for two nights. We appreciated the cleanliness, the extra linens and towels, and the fully stocked kitchen. Chris was also great to work with and a prompt communicator. We would definitely recommend!
